Enphase in Ontario

Overview

Enphase and FlextronicsEnphase inaugurated its Ontario manufacturing facility in March 2010 to supply Microninverter Systems that qualify for the Ontario Power Authority's feed-in tariff (FIT) programs. These qualifying Enphase products satisfy the domestic content requirement of both the FIT and the microFIT programs while also delivering the exceptional productivity, reliability, safety and intelligence of Enphase's award-winning products.

Our Ontario manufacturing facility produces and ships the Enphase M190 Microinverter.  All other system components (cables, Envoy, etc.) are not required by the FIT program to be produced in Ontario. For information on which solar modules work with our technology, please view our Module Compatibility List.

Benefits

Within Ontario's feed-in tariff program, the Enphase Microinverter System gives unique advantages to both installers and system owners:

  • Enphase is the fastest way to start your solar installation business.
Installing with Enphase is faster, simpler and safer than any other technology on the market. Read more about how to install Enphase Microinverter Systems.
  • Enphase increases your solar system's revenue by up to 25 percent.
Because the Ontario Power Authority pays system owners based on energy production, the ability of the Enphase Microinverter System to harvest 5-25 percent more energy than traditional inverter systems directly translates into higher revenue. Read more about the technology behind Enphase Microinverter Systems.
  • Enphase is built for Ontario's winter.
Enphase Microinverters are designed to operate at temperatures as low as –40C. For more, see the technical specifications.
